It is our goal to bundle capacities, unite forces and to supervise all our projects sustainably and personally. For this supporters and friendships are needed.

A friendship does not only provide us with a pleasant feeling but is also essential for survival. Since the foundation of our association we have enjoyed the friendship of a bunch of wonderful people. We cannot be more grateful to our supporters for being at our side in the long-term.

Die Reisegäste der gleichnamigen Reiseveranstaltung Chamäleon bekommen während ihrer Reise durch Namibia die Möglichkeit das von uns geförderte Schulprojekt in Swakopmund zu besuchen. Wir arbeiten seit 2016 mit der Chamäleon Stiftung zusammen und fördern gemeinsam den Völkeraustausch und die Begegnung der Menschen auf Augenhöhe. Dadurch stellen wir uns gemeinsam und konkret gegen das Konzept des „Slum“-Tourismus. Die Stiftung unterstützt uns jährlich mit einer großzügigen Spende, damit laufende Projekte finanziert werden können.

Melitta unterstützt uns seit vielen Jahren jährlich mit einer großzügigen Geldspende, damit wir das Schulprojekt in Namibia beibehalten und das besondere schulische Angebot weiterhin gewährleisten können. Wir sind sehr dankbar dafür.

Wir dürfen seit Gründung unseres Vereins die Unterstützung von INEOS genießen und wir sind froh darum langfristige Partner an unserer Seite zu haben, die unsere Arbeit schätzen und aktiv jährlich mit einem Geldbetrag unterstützen.

Die Freundschaft mit BILD hilft e. V. „Ein Herz für Kinder„ war nicht von langer Dauer, da es sich um ein zeitlich befristetes Projekt handelte. Wir alle haben alte Weggefährten, Freunde und Menschen in unseren Herzen, zu denen wir zwar keinen regen Kontakt haben, jedoch wertvolle Erinnerungen und prägende Erfahrungen verbinden. Und wir wissen immer darum, dass sie uns in Not stets helfen würden. Es war uns daher eine besondere Ehre mit der Hilfsorganisation der BILD hilft e. V. „Ein Herz für Kinder“ kooperieren zu dürfen. Wir konnten Dank der finanziellen Unterstützung im Jahr 2017 einen Spielplatz mit zwei Schaukeln, einer Rutsche und einer Wippe auf dem Grundstück des Schulprojekts in Namibia bauen.

Peter ist seit Gründung unseres Vereins für unseren Internetauftritt verantwortlich, der sich sehen lassen kann. Wir sind sehr froh darum einen zuverlässigen Partner an unserer Seite zu haben, der uns bis heute nicht von unserer Seite wich.

Werner Erkes made the construction of the OPEN DOORS Education Centre possible with his foundation. He invested over 800,000 € in the construction and thus entrusted us with the assets of his foundation. Before the construction, he and his team even visited us on site in Namibia. We humbly thank him for this hopefully long partnership.

The Deutsche Postcode Lotterie has supported us in 2020 with € 14,400 for the DRC School Project and with € 100,000 for the OPEN DOORS Education Centre (ODEC) in 2023, for which we are very grateful. These generous sums support us in the long term to make our work in Namibia possible at all.

Thanks to BILD hilft e.V. “Ein Herz für Kinder”, we were able to build a playground on the property of the DRC School Project in 2017. In 2021, we received support again, this time for the renovation and refurbishment of our school containers. In 2023, we received a generous financial support for the construction of the new OPEN DOORS Education Centre (ODEC).

Katarina Witt and her team have supported us since the very first second of building the new OPEN DOORS Education Centre. They believed in us before others did.
