The life of the children in the DRC is shaped by difficult conditions in the families and experience of violence are often encountered. Sadly, HIV/AIDS infections are also no rarity and the lack of medical provision as well as the lack of proteins and vitamins are a serious problem. The worst off are children and the youth because many families cannot prepare a regular meal for their children. The DRC Soup kitchen provides a daily warm meal with a piece of fruit to 150 to 180 people.
