(Project running since March 2020)
The districts of Kuisebmond and Twaloloka in Walvis Bay are home to the poorest families in great need. HIV/AIDS is widespread and the unemployment rate is high. After the Twaloloka shacks burned down completely in August 2020, the people living there were accommodated in emergency shelters. In Kuisebmond, several grandmothers try to ensure the survival of their grandchildren living with them only with their small pension.. Through a trusted person in Walvis Bay, Konny provides the families with food, clothing and hygiene items as well as diapers.
