ODEC has a library with over 5,500 books, including non-fiction and novels for different age groups. It is designed as a quiet and comfortable area where learners can spend time without pressure and for the joy of reading. Given the fact that one in ten Namibians over the age of 15 still cannot read properly [Namibia Statistics Agency 2019, p. 102], the library provides a training ground for children and adults alike.

It is also used for life skills, awareness courses and other further education programmes. Trained teachers are available in all learning rooms to provide support with academic or personal issues as required. In this way, the education centre creates an environment that makes education more accessible and promotes the joy of learning and personal growth.
